To receive an absentee ballot:

Register online for an Absentee Ballot or complete an Absent Ballot Voter Application (fillable PDF) and drop it off at the Township Hall (ballot drop box).

Gratiot County Emergency Management announced the opening of the Michigan Disaster Resource Center to assist residents impacted by the severe storms, tornado, flooding, and straight-line winds that affected Gratiot County and surrounding areas from April 10-21, 2026. As part of the coordinated local, state, and federal disaster recovery effort, Gratiot County has been approved for FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) for eligible residents and Public Assistance (PA) for eligible government agencies and public infrastructure.

The Michigan Disaster Resource Center will open Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Perrinton Community Center, 305 W. Elba St., Perrinton, MI 48871. The center will be staffed by representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) who will provide in-person assistance and guidance to residents and households seeking FEMA Individual Assistance due to damages from the April storms.
