NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION 

The Seville Township Board will hold a closed session during its regularly scheduled Township Board Meeting on:

 

DATE: Wednesday, March 11, 2026

TIME: 6:30 p.m.

PLACE: Seville Township Hall (7676 W Lincoln Road, Elwell, MI 48832)

 

The purpose of the closed session is to consult with the Township’s attorney regarding a written legal opinion related to potential litigation, as permitted under the Michigan Open Meetings Act, MCL 15.268(h).

 

The remainder of the meeting will be conducted as scheduled in open session.

NOTICE OF BOARD OF REVIEW

The Seville Township Board of Review for 2026 will be held at the Seville Township Hall located at 7676 W Lincoln Road, Elwell, on the following dates to hear all questions you may have on your property valuations:

  • Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at noon organizational meeting. [No appeals will be accepted or acted on at this organizational meeting].
  • Monday, March 9, 2026, 3pm to 9pm appeal hearing.
  • Thursday, March 12, 2026, 9am to 3pm appeal hearing.

  

THE TAXABLE VALUE OF TOWNSHIP PROPERTIES WILL INCREASE BY APPROXIMATELY: 2.7%

 

TENTATIVE EQUALIZATION FACTORS FOR ALL CLASSES OF PROPERTIES IS 1.0000

PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE OF  PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that on April 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., the Seville Township Planning Commission will hold a meeting at the Seville Township Hall, 7676 W. Lincoln Road, Elwell, MI, 48832. The purpose of this meeting is to consider any business that may come before the Planning Commission and to hold a public hearing on a proposed Food Truck Ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available for inspection by appointment at the Township Hall. Written comments  regarding the proposed ordinance may be submitted to the Planning Commission until 5:00 p.m. on April 7, 2026, at the Township Hall.

This notice is posted in  compliance with PA 267 of 1976, as amended (Open Meetings Act), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and published in compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, 2006 P.A. 110. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services who are planning to attend the meeting should notify Amy Densmore, Township Clerk, at (989) 506-0355 within a reasonable time in advance of the date of the hearing.
